ing. Hey everyone, back again here—it's been a while since the last one with Burn. This time I decided to revive a playstyle that’s been asleep for a few years: pure Control, as always with my good friend and trap god Lord, along with my favorite skill in the game. Unlike the previous deck I shared, this one focuses on controlling the field and taking advantage of that. The deck can handle most meta decks out there right now, though it does have some issues against Resonator and Salaman, but the others don’t present much of a problem. That said, some people have told me they tried the decks I post here and they didn’t work as expected. Clearly, you need to keep something in mind: with this kind of strategy, you depend on RNG or luck. If that doesn’t go your way, it’s very likely you’ll lose a duel here and there. Also, don’t expect a top-tier strategy—this is a rogue deck. But in my experience playing this kind of deck, I can say that with 23 to 24 cards, RNG usually works in your favor. Against meta decks, the strongest one is Resonator. To beat it, you rely on drawing Debunk (especially if you're going first, that’s when it counters best) or IDP early. Mirror is also really good against it, but you need to bait the Hot Red so it doesn't negate it. Terrors also helps a lot. These types of decks aren’t friendly to players who don’t know the game well. You have to know when to interrupt your opponent and when not to, and at the very least know what the most commonly used cards do, because it’s a deck that doesn’t forgive a single mistake. Another advantage I get when playing this is that, since it’s an unusual strategy, opponents don’t expect the cards or the deck’s plan, so I get some wins from that too. Salaman also gets wrecked pretty hard with the same cards I mentioned above. Hero? Just hit the Rainbow with IDP or Terrors and it’s game over.
