so it took me till saturday to get to dlvl max this kc. not very proud of this dlvl max as shiranui is a powerful deck and i should of dlvl maxed ages ago. but this kc has been the most difficult kc ive had to dlvl max. before the mini box come out the meta was very diverse and enjoyable. but its frustrating as during my climb i was facing non stop mirror matches and difficult tachyon matches. the meta right now is not enjoyable because konami love to bring out braindead skills. even tho shiranuis skill is strong its only once per duel (which is fair) and a crow lancea or even effect veiler can limit your end board turn 1. but tachyon however can shît out monsters use their skill twice per duel search an omni negate end on a felgrand which can protect their tachyon keeping their onmi negate live and they usually end on back rown too. ive never played shiranu till the new cards + skill and its not a straight forward deck too play as they're many monster effects you can utilise as disruption during your opponents turn. i was using timeaus222's list and the backrow lineup was 3x crackdown 2x katon 1xsuccess and samsara but i removed the crackdown as the tachyon players always played around it no matter what i tried to crackdown. although i never really used gold sarc so im tempted to switch those for x2bom or maybe x2 crackdown as sometimes its better to yoink monsters like kluger instead of sending it too the grave. bom is great vs tachyon as flipping two monsters down means no rank 8 plays. katon + samsara and vendread with yuki onna in the grave makes for some great disruption with your sunsaga banished means during the battle phase if you havent used katon you can send a sprirtmaster to the grave then banish it with katon to destroy a face up card. i never go for that setup unless i opened mizuki squire and katon. i would recommend watching timeaus222 recent shiranui video and deck list as it really helped me learn some of the plays you should be making going 1st and 2nd. the mirror match is very difficult if you're new to shiranui like me as other players know their effects in and out and they know what youre going to do and its really difficult to establish a board going second as your spectralsword will either be on your field or banished meaning you cant use his grave effect going on your 1st turn. i think i only won 1 mirror match going 2nd. i won most of my mirror matches going 1st because i managed to establish a good board. also samsara saves ya.

this is timeaus's recent video ive watched it many times and although im better with the deck than when i first started, theres many players who are better than me using shiranui, this is due to experience and im nowhere near as fast at making plays and ive lost due to time limit alot as theres alot of different plays.

i hope tachyon gets nerfed.
