Notes & Combos
This time around my deck got picked by my girlfriend. I made a preliminary selection from certain decks, and she found the chimeras to be the most interesting in terms of appearance.
However, I didn't want to play a standard chimera list because I didn't want to be dependent on winning the coin toss. So I added several tech cards (Lava Golem, Kaiju, Droplet).
In addition, I removed the XYZ Beatrice line and replaced it with an Accel Stardust + Wolfrayet line. This allows me to have an out (Stardust Dragon) against the annoying Blue Eyes trap card. Furthermore, an unaffected Wolfrayet & Stardust Dragon are a problem for almost every deck.
The deck is still absolutely favored going first. Your ideal turn 1 endboard is the berformet fusion, nightmare magician, accel stardust & vision resonator. As soon as your opponent does his first move (besides the skill), you should use accel stardusts effect during the main phase to summon Stardust dragon and Wolfrayet using nightmare magician and vision resonator.
Going second, you need to draw into droplet, lava golem or the kaiju. Otherwise, it is going to be rough.
In general, the climb was a lot of fun, especially because so many opponents forget that Wolfrayet and Stardust Dragon are unaffected after being summoned by Accel Stardust.
