Notes & Combos
Ideally the strength of the deck lies in its ability to turn tech cards in combo pieces and combo pieces in tech cards, so I would play at least 1 more copie each of Eccentrick and Santa Claws. Other Fiend monsters worth mentioning to fill the spot of "tech cards that work as skill activators" are Skull Meister, both a handtrap useful against PKs mainly and a level 4 to ensure your follow up, and Patrulea, in theory both an mst and a lvl 4 that doesn't require your normal.
For the archetype ratios I went for 2 Sprinter, 3 Wildwind, 2 Crimson, 3 Red and 2 Reign. The 2 Sprinter are to ensure you can activate your skill and it's good follow up if your board gets completely outed. Wildwind and Crimson are the best targets for the first part of the skill in this version, setting up follow up through Wildwind searching for Crimson, hence its second copy. 2 copies of Red in deck allow, with a lvl 4 monster, to go into Bane + Scarlight and with the third part of the skill allowing for 2 activations of Scarlight's effect if you're going second or, if you're going first, for Bane + Reign or the board I've ended the most going first Scarlight + Red + Reign; while going first the part of the skill that sets Reign will shuffle back Red from the field and hand if you drew that, allowing turn 3 to have 2 Red in deck and going for the OTK. Reign is probably better as a 1 of, but hard drawing it is really good turn 1 and decent turn 2 if you can't OTK, so most of the times.
For staples I just went with 3 BoM to ensure a better turn 1 as well as having something useful turn 2, as well as a lot of backrow hate as this is the biggest weakness of the deck (aside from DD Crow, but there's NOTHING you can do about that). I prefer cards that can be activated before I commit to the board over Lance because I'm afraid of IDP, also quick play S/T removal counter Timelord that is a popular deck right now and really hard to beat for this version.
For the extra 2 Rising because I'm playing only 2 Crimson, Dark End outs Timelords, Red Nova and The Dark Magicians, Tyrant usually baits backrow if you drew both Crimson and Wildwind before committing to a normal and can OTK if your oppoent lets resolve the board wipe and you drew BoM or MST + a S/T, 2 Bane to ensure follow up and to recycle Reign, 2 Scarlight is core.
I'm open to any kind of question, suggestion or debate over Resonator theory building :3
