Notes & Combos

"Beyond Duel Links there are"—his face grew ashen with terror—"things that I cannot distinguish. They move rapidly through overtuned Skill design. They have no ingenuity, and they move swiftly through outrageously conceived combo lines." “The Tindangler!" he muttered. "They can only FTK us if we don’t open any interaction. We must draw a hand trap from this deck. I shall muster up the heart of the cards, the will to draw the out. We must make this end board resemble a jank setup from 2013 so that he’ll surrender immediately."

I am such a naughty, naughty girl for playing the uninteractive FTK version of the Tindanlger instead of one of the more intuitive combo variants, but what can ya do when you’re 100 packs into the new box you said you wouldn’t invest into and somehow have only pulled one (1) copy of Delaunay. I know this list isn’t super optimal, but honestly a few extra traps and some changes in the extra deck only make it slightly more likely you’ll survive going 2nd. I’ve decided to run a Pentestag + Barbaroid line if I have to go 2nd, usually Eclipse the opponents monsters then hope they don’t have any backrow hate. Frankly, this kind of janky combo was inevitable given Konami’s tendency towards making Skills that do all your setup for you and apparently no oversight into checking for any bogus interactions, so might as well take advantage of this inane combo existing because certainly not any less fair than whatever the f**k they’ve done with Jack Atlas’ deck,

Despite how janky this list is, I actually managed to pull off a 10 win streak in Legends 3-5, which can be easily accomplished by simply flipping heads every time or running into suboptimal setups you can OTK through with the backup fusion. There aren’t any specific matchup comments I can add here; if you go first and they have no hand traps you win, but if you go 2nd and they destroy your Stairs and have any other follow-up or floodgate, you might as well scoop. It also helps that most people either don’t know the choke points of this combo yet, so if you actually bother to read these writeups, give this a Like reac and see below on when to use which hand traps if you see a fellow Tindangler set two level 3s and Intruder facedown: -Droll & Lock Bird: activate immediately. The combo folds unless I’ve already opened Summoner + 2 names. How’s TCG fatigue coming along, babe? -Effect Veiler: DON’T use it on Protector because we usually have a Book spell to play around it. Instead, save it for Atlandis of Crystal Bell -D.D. Crow: using it in response to Delaunay is usually a safe choice, otherwise save it for Crystal Bell before they can copy the effect of the Lyrilusc. -Nibiru: what’s it like to spend actual money on this game?

She Tindangle on my Intruder until I Jhrelth. Is that anything?
