"The graceful fluttering of your wings will crush even steel! RACE THROUGH THE HEAVENS! BENDORBREAK THE CONQUEROR!"

After almost 2 years without thinking about using this deck, I decided to build it again. At this time, I was so busy, since I had so many things to do in real life, which meant that I couldn't play ranked matches. However, this month - Jan 2025, I was finally free, and it was time for me to make a comeback. This time, I chose Tempest Beast, a deck that I hadn't even touched for almost 2 years. On Jan 2025, Rush Duel Links was powercreeped. There are many decks which can end the game in less than 10 turns, which meant that old decks could be defeated easily if the player wasn't careful. Some people decided to use Miss Mutton, or Meeeg-chan, in Tempest Beast deck. However, after testing it for a couple of days, I realized that it didn't fit this deck at all. That was why I decided to use the old playing style of this deck, which really made me reach King of Games.

About the playing style of this deck, it is so simple. Basically, you use the skill to set Tempest for searching bosses or cards that you need to use to do something. With Dark Sword, a beatstick that you can summon for free, you can use Tempest for switching your opponent's bosses to Defense Position and your opponent's weak monsters to Attack Position, then hit your opponent with high damage as well as finish the game. Bendorbreak can also be summoned easily through Beast Summoner, and use its effect to send Spells/Traps to the GY to decrease your opponent's bosses' ATK. It could also be a monster for defending in early game, thanks to its high DEF. Pazuzu can become a 2600-ATK boss because of the skill. Sevens Road Mage and Talismanic are used for decreasing the ATK of some bosses for easily field-clearing. Also, Ruin is also used instead of Negate Attack, because this deck cannot clear your opponent's field easily. Of course what I told you is kinda simple and basic, but the truth is that this deck is really hard and it needs you to understand Rush Duel pretty well and know how to adapt in any situations. That means I don't recommend this deck for anyone playing Rush Duel for less than 2-3 years. Moreover, this deck is kinda expensive. I got 3 Dark Sword through 2 Rush UR Dream tickets and 1 SD.

In conclusion:

  • Deck type: Mid-range
  • Consistency: 3.5/5
  • Attacking: 3/5
  • Defending: 2.5/5
  • Versatility: 3.5/5
  • Difficulty: 5/5
