Notes & Combos

I got to Legend 5 with Time Thief deck but since the Heroes deck sudden rage this early January 2025, I got demoted to Legend 1 straight down. I even try to use Phantom Knight & Windwitch decks but Heroes decks are simply too strong that I cannot even go pass through Legend 3. I got complete Heroes & Predaplant decks but I just simply does not enjoy playing them.

I decided to use Lyrilusc deck although it is no longer tier-1 deck this month & I got easy climb without any demote from Legend 1 to KoG. Against Heroes deck, if you go first turn, depending on your draw, always try to end up the first turn board with Starling, Nightingale & Robin and hopefully you will survive the Super Poly on the second turn.

If you start on second turn, Thrush is amazing backrow removal especially if your opponent Heroes only set 1 card which is definitely the Super Poly. They will be forced to consume Thrush to Fusion summon the Wind Hero. After that, you know the drill, Starling & Nightingale to finish the game.

Kinka-Byo is definitely great addition to the deck and perfectly sync with our level 1 Lyrilusc. Just make sure you have not Normal summon any monster first & you got 1 Lyrilusc in your Graveyard.

Lyrilusc is definitely not my favorite deck but due to current meta full of Heroes and 7 out of 10 matches are always against them, I have no choice. And now it become worst with addition of Salamangreat but it is deifnitely winable match depends on your draw.

This month sucks because you cannot play your favorite decks to reach KoG. You can reach KoG with your favorite deck but you will need lots of lucks and more duels to play which is time wasting.
