Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Hello everyone, welcome to another one of my Altergeist King of Games entries. I'm sure people know me by now, but I'm your favorite number one Altergeist content creator and Ghost Gal's official true love. I could write essays on how much I love Ghost Gal and what she means to me, but I'll leave that for Valentine's Day. Without further ado, here's my Altergeist deck for the October 2024 ranked season, a perfect way to kick off Spook Month.

With this decklist, I was able to hit King of Games in just 58 wins, which is honestly impressive in of itself, but it gets better. For my entire Legend 4/Legend 5 to KoG, I went undefeated, going on an explosive 10 game winstreak, and attaining that King of Games with my wife's (Ghost Gal's) deck, Altergeists, the deck I'm known for.

Not much has changed on my decklist aside from the third copy of Personal Spoofing, which really helped my overall consistency. Finally, I'm not bricking as much anymore and I think x3 Spoofing is correct since it's the most broken Trap in the deck and you want to see it in your hand more often than not.

As for the other cards, I added in El Shaddoll Construct to flex its alternate art, Ningirsu + Wynn the Wind Charmer Verdant to answer Lyrilusc and of course Needle Ceiling to counter swarming decks. I don't like Ningirsu because his card art is so ugly (I prefer Kidolga instead) so here's hoping Lyrilusc is nerfed soon so I can kick Ningirsu out and put Kidolga back in. I only accept cute waifus in my lists and Ningirsu is clearly male, which led to my disdain in adding him.

As for closing thoughts, this deck is truly insane with x3 Spoofing and I'm glad that I have full power Altergeist at my disposal. Other than that extra bit of consistency, Altergeist is still the same old, same old control deck you guys are already familiar with.

My past five games this time around were consisted of Clear Wing Acceleration Yugo (Speedroid), Tachyon Dragon Domination Mizar (Tachyon), Smile World Yuya Sakaki (Amano Iwato stun), Spirit Grasp Yami Bakura (Balerdroch Zombie), and Overlay Control Yuma Tsukumo (Gunkan Suship).

Replays

As for replays, I'm going to be doing something a bit different. I'll be uploading my replays to my YouTube channel with live commentary if you want to see them but as for now, I'll give you the KoG replay so you guys can see proof of my 10 game winstreak. It was against the Suship player, who conceded instantly upon seeing Needle Ceiling.
